The 5-Day Website Glow-Up: Quick Wins That Make a Big Difference

What if your website was noticeably better by this time next week?
Not a full redesign. Not a six-week project with a designer on a waiting list. Just five focused improvement sessions, one per day, fifteen to thirty minutes each, targeting the specific things that have the biggest impact.
That's the 5-Day Website Glow-Up. And you can start it any time, including today.
I designed this framework after noticing a pattern: almost everyone knew their website needed work. Almost no one was doing anything about it, not from lack of motivation, but because the task felt so enormous and undefined that they'd end up doing nothing at all.

Why small, targeted wins matter more than you think
A handful of precise improvements, the right ones, in the right places, can dramatically change how a website performs. Homepage conversion rates have doubled from a single headline rewrite.
Day 1 | Nail your homepage headline
Rewrite your headline using:
"I help [specific WHO] do [specific WHAT] so they can [specific RESULT]."
Template to steal: "I help [women solopreneurs] get [a professional Wix website] so they can [book clients with confidence and stop apologising for their online presence]."
Day 2 | Fix your CTA
Identify the single most important action you want a visitor to take right now. Make sure there's one clear, visible button for that action, before any scrolling. Check your button label, "Book your free 20-min call" beats "Contact me."
Day 3 | Add social proof where it actually matters
Find your single best client quote or concrete result. Place it in the first two scrolls.
Day 4 | The mobile check, a non-negotiable
Open your live website on your actual phone. Check headline fit, CTA tap size, navigation, forms. Fix whatever you find. My detailed guide to mobile-first web design walks through the full checklist.
Day 5 | SEO basics in under 20 minutes
Update your page title, meta description, and two image alt texts. My post on SEO and UX/UI best practices covers everything in depth, and the guide to image optimisation for solopreneurs is worth bookmarking for Day 5 specifically.
Five days. Five focused sessions. A website that is genuinely, measurably better by the end of the week. If you'd like me to walk you through each of these tasks personally, I've turned this entire framework into a free 5-Day Website Glow-Up Email Challenge.
