terms of service

1. General

These terms cover everything on nadiaorangestudio.com. nadiaOrangestudio is the trading name of Nadia Pompilio, a self-employed web designer in Portugal (hello@nadiaorangestudio.com). By booking a service, accepting a proposal or buying from this website, you agree to these terms.

2. Custom website projects

Each project starts with a proposal setting out the scope, price, timeline and revisions. If the proposal and these terms say different things, the proposal wins.

  • Booking: you book by confirming the proposal in writing (a reply to my email is enough) and paying 50%.

  • The 50% is non-refundable once you're booked. It reserves your place in my calendar and covers the work that starts straight away.

  • The other 50% is due on final design approval, before launch. Payment is by bank transfer.

  • Your part: projects stay on schedule when content and feedback arrive on time. If I'm waiting on you for more than 30 days, the project is paused. After 60 days it may be closed, and restarting is quoted as new work.

  • Changes outside the agreed scope, such as new pages or new features, are quoted separately.

  • Handover: your website moves to your Wix account within 7 working days of the final payment, and it's yours once it's fully paid.

  • Credit: I'll include a small credit link in your website's footer, and I may show your project in my portfolio and on social media, unless your proposal says otherwise.

3. VIP Spark Sprint

The VIP Spark Sprint is booked and paid online, and includes what's described on its page.

  • 50% non-refundable deposit to your date, the other 50% is due 48 hours before due date

4. Templates and Customization

  • Templates are digital products, delivered straight away by download link. The link stays active for 30 days. If it expires, email me your order number and I'll send a new one.

  • Each template is licensed for one website and can't be resold, shared or transferred. 

  • Customization add-on: sold with a template and paid in full upfront. It includes what's described on its page, and it isn't refundable once paid.

5. Other costs

Wix plans, domains, email, apps, fonts and stock photos aren't included unless your proposal says so. You pay them directly to the provider, and the accounts are in your name.

6. Intellectual property

Everything on nadiaorangestudio.com and on my social channels, including text, design, images, templates and free resources, belongs to nadiaOrangestudio.

7. Responsibility

I'll do the work with care, as agreed. I'm not responsible for how Wix or other third-party tools work or change, for business results such as sales or search rankings, for content you provide, or for your own legal requirements. I can set up legal pages and features, but whether your site meets the rules for your business is up to you. 

8. Complaints

I want everyone who works with me to be happy with the result. If anything isn't right, please email hello@nadiaorangestudio.com. I reply within 48 hours on working days.
